Does it bother you when someone says my kid.......?

when kid is a baby goat not a human? My soon to be husband corrects me everytime I say it.

Yes, it does. My daughter in law does it and it irks me, bad. They are children. Once in a while is ok, but constant saying, "My kid" or when we have another kid-that one bothers me. Saying, "I took the kids to the park" seems ok. I think it's referring to a baby as a kid that bothers me most.
