  1. We've all become so inured of vulgar display and behavior, it takes a lot to shock us. But when I do see something like that, I wonder why someone would want to advertise such low breeding.

  2. That's what those shirts are for, to get a reaction!

I just laugh, and think "What an idiot".

  3. Most of the time I don't even read what's written on people's shirts.

But if I did read it and it was vulgar, no I wouldn't care.

  4. Why would someone elses choice of clothes offend you?  They are not making your friend wear the shirt. If someone elses tee-shirt upsets her so much maybe she should be a million times less sensitive or revert to being illerate.  I knew people that hate when I wear low cut shirts.  So I save the deepest v-necks to wear just when I know I will be seeing them that day : )  I know what he was talking about-I would never wear anything with writing on it.  Mine was just an example of your personal style being your decision alone.

  5. Yes, it does. I loathe them and think ill of the person wearing them; they are not ever mistaken for a Rhodes Scholar, that's for sure!

  6. Yes it does. And even more so around my grand children. They ask questions and I will answer them but that still does not stop them from thinking of it later. Kids are like sponges they soak up everything. I have asked people to not cuss and to hold things down while riding public transportation around my kids and grand kids.

  7. It does bother me, but i don't say anything because I know they just want to get a rise out of others; basic attention seeking behavior just like any other 2 or 3 year old.  In this case, addressing it reinforces the behavior instead of discouraging it.  When I worked with children, we called it "planned ignoring".

Hey Rachel, I think he was talking about vulgar sayings or pictures, not v-necks.

  8. nope its their right to wear what the want

its no different to baggie sloppy clothes falling off them

or women wearing clothes 4 sizes to small and to short or low cut

if they want to walk around looking foolish i say let them it gives the rest of us something to laugh about
