Does it bruise a guy's ego if a woman beats him at a game?

We had a happy hour a week ago and one of the female associates beat a male associate at pool twice. The next day the guy didn't mention the win and I felt that he was embarrassed by the loss. What do you think?

definitely,men think thy are superior at everything and when they get their butts kicked by a girl ,it kills their self esteem.  But who cares these days women are into everything,they never where.  Men hate when women are better at things.  we are supposed to be equals and men do not like that.  so i have to say good job,kick his butt again.  he dont like it too bad,he will get over it....

It might for some. As for me, I'd look at as a challenge to get better.

will sometimes it dependes in the guy because the guy wants to be the most athletic

It sure could be, some guys hate that, and are very competitive.

They hate to lose, but when it's a man beating him, he has a good excuse, at least to himself. But when a woman does it, it lowers his already, low self esteem.

It doesn't' bother me, there are some things I am good at, and some I am not. I'm sure your friend, could beat me at pool, but I most likely could beat her at Darts. But it wouldn't bother me, if I lost, I'm just not that competitive. I do my best, and if someone, is better, that's how it is.

I'd say most of the time, yes. Guy's don't like losing at anything, and to a woman even less so (especially in front of friends and coworkers!) It shouldn't honestly be a big deal however; he should get over it soon enough. A simple game for fun isn't something the average guy can stay upset about for very long, and if he is staying hurt, there's something more the matter than just being upset at losing a game.
