Does it cost a text message to send a picture from my verizon phone to my email?

I dont want it to cost more than a text! I must know for sure! Please help!

Yes, it counts as a MMS (multi-media message service) text message on VerizonWireless.  You are sending it from your mobile phone via the MMS system hardware and software.  That is what you are paying to use.  It doesn't matter if you send it to a phone number or an email address, it still is considered an outgoing MMS message from you.

Depending on your plan, it is either included in what you are already paying to use - or you will pay 25cents separately for each "picture message".  Because each "plan" is specific and different (and there have been many over the years), you should definitely call VerizonWireless customer service to be absolutely certain about accuracy of these charges as they relate to your account specifically.
