On top of paying AT&T for the service plan.. will I have to pay for additional features? Can someone help me break this down?

  1. I believe it's a little different at AT&T, but here's how it works at Verizon:

You pay whatever your regular monthly fee is for your minutes. On top of that, you also have to pay for a Blackberry Data Plan, which adds about $30 to your monthly bill. However, that extra $30 allows you to use all of the Blackberry's features like web, email, etc. Text messages are still extra. Hope this helps!

  2. It's pretty much the same as the Verizon employee described it. I have a BlackBerry Curve on the AT&T Wireless network and you do have to pay extra for its online features and such.

They have BlackBerry data plans so you may want to look into that!

  3. Unlike Verizon, ATT does not require you to have a data plan for the Blackberry.  You can use it for voice only, although I don't really see the point.  You can add a text plan (250txts for $5 is common) and an unlimited data plan (39.99) if you want to have email and internet access.
