  1. Sounds like a scam. I never had to give credit card info when I did my FASFA. You need to talk to the financial aid department at your school. (I was also ripped off like $200.00 from a place called All American Grant Resources.) Be careful, when your young and still have good credit, people want to take advantage of you. I was ripped off like 100 times from 18- 23!

  2. You are on the wrong (scam) site.  FAFSA stands for:

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

    the website is http://fafsa.ed.gov

  3. h**l TO THA NAWW!  =)  No way, buddy.  It's totally free.  And it's about the only thing totally free you'll ever get concerning school.  DON'T PAY $75.00 TO FILL OUT A FAFSA!!!!  It's not a scam - they really will send it to the FAFSA place for you and you'll get your money... but it's a rip off.  You can EASILY fill it out online totally free.  Here's the website:

    http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

Also, remember that the deadline for this year is already passed!!!  And the earlier you apply for next year's FAFSA, the more money you'll get!  Good luck with school!

  4. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, no it doesn't cost money.  Make sure you're on the correct site, http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ .
