Does it cost money to use internet to download FREE things off a website on my phone? (ATT)?

I don't have a internet plan.

How much do you estimate that would be? I downloaded like a 1000 kb to my phone.

Depends on your network carrier. There are some carriers that will charge on a per kilobyte basis if you do not have an unlimited amount of internet set up to be used.

Usually the per kilobyte cost is 2 cents to 3 cents per KB.

AT&T charges a penny per kb so if you are correct on your number of kb then it is a $10 charge. That seems like a pretty large file though. Remember most web pages are 60kb large (each page)
