Does it cost more to have a custom license plate?

and how much does it cost to get your new car registered? i live in Las Vegas NV

i dunno about Las Vegas, but here in CA my custom plates are an extra $40 i believe.

Ya it costs more to get a custom license plate anywhere. If you live in an expensive place, its generally going to be more to get a custom plate than if you lived in a cheap place

in fl. its usually between $25-$45 depending on what charity it is going to i have a fl. gator plate and it was $35 and goes to a general scholarship fund
