Does it cost to call to another area code in the same state. What is the cheapest way?

I belive that calling like another area code in the same state is long distance..but I am not sure. Does it cost a lot to talk like that?

If so is there a cheap way to call someone without getting a HUGE bill?

Call them and have them use yahoo messenger to talk to you. There are also internet sites that will let you call people for free. Look at skype. I think if you keep reregistering it ends up being free.
