Does it drive you nuts that people drive on the left lane just because they're going the limit?

That's unexcusable. Just because you're doing the speed limit doesn't mean you can just stroll on the left lane. Doesn't passing someone overrule the speed limit? After all you want to pass them.

  1. Yes, I have to fight my frustration with this aswell.  It is most frustrating when you are passed and then they slow down though.  I am in agreement with the first answer that you got.

  2. It doesn't bother me when I can see they don't want to get stuck behind certain vehicles in the right lane and can guess where they're turning left soon.

What bothers me is when someone passes me...in the left lane...gets ahead of me...in the right lane...and goes SLOWER than I was going. :-)

  3. No, passing someone doesn't overrule the speed limit.   The limit is the limit.  If they're going at the limit there's no point passing them unless you're speeding.

  4. Ha! Want to go insane on the freeway? Drive in Utah. Blue hairs in the HOV going the speed limit (or less) and then cursing when you pass. Old men with hats clutching the steering wheel in the left lane towing a trailer.. Right lane totally clear.. Its the damnest thing.
