Does it go against your credit if you apply for a credit card and you don't get approved for it? I don't want to apply for any credit cards incase this were to happen ... does it go against your credit though, or no?

  2. I think these days you lose points off your score for not crapping the right color.

    Seriously....I don't think you can do anything right when it comes to your credit score anymore....

  3. No it doesn't go against your credit.  But I would be sure all my debts are paid off before applying... to be on the safe side...  The 3 major credit companies do hold against you any debts you aquire.

  4. I was turned down for credit cards at one point, and when I asked why, they said I'd applied and been turned down for too many in the past.  So yes, it can.
