Does it help you to learn easier and faster if you play an instrument?

I want to know if people that learn an instrument have an advantage in their studies in comparison to those that don't learn an instrument.

i dont know, but i know that if you play an instrument, it really helps your soul.

learning an instrument lets you use both the creative and technical parts of the brain + hand eye coordination. i'm not sure if it gives you an advantage over anything. but it sure gives the brain a workout.
