  1. I agree with Ashley D. Best of Luck.

  2. believe me I used to be afraid of getting shots especially in the mouth but I had 4 cavities filled in one day and I had to get 5-7 shots and really the first one hurts a second but it is like a pinch in the mouth then a minute later you are feeling fine and numb and really you should feel great that you only need to have a filling and not a root canal or an extraction because once you are done you should feel a lot better and then you should be able to smile without having to have a big gap in the space where your tooth would be.

  3. ive only gotten mine filled with the novicane shot but its painless sfter they unject the novicane but the shot hurts a little

  4. It never hurt me. They numb your mouth so  you don't feel a thing. It's just uncomfortable to be sitting there with your mouth wide open for about an hour.

  5. Yes, it'll be the most painful 45 minutes you can remember.  You'll never eat candy again.  Good luck.

  6. I have never JUST used the mask... but no you should not feel pain, only pressure. UN-less the cavity is so deep they have to drill near the nerve. But even then, it will give you a jolt and you can let them know. It doesn't take long and a filling will not hurt afterward, you just can't eat or drink until it dries. Don't worry.... it will be fine. If you get too hyped, you can ask for a small dose of valium to ease your anxiety.

    Good Luck!

  7. not really, if you get your mouth numbed all you get is minor irritation

  8. it really depends on how deep the cavity is

they caught mine early and it was still on the surface so it was just really uncomfortable..if they numb it then it shouldnt be that bad. it will hurt but im sure you will be fine. good luck :)

  9. Ummm sorry i cant help you on that one because i have never gotten a cavity!!!!! But i have heard that they dont hurt!

    xoxo

  10. Normally they give you a shot to numb your mouth but, it does hurt a little.  But not that bad really.  :)
