to get it pierced, no not really. but it was tender for quite awhile afterwards until it healed.

you dont feel it at first....it pretty much just goes numb. then a little later it sears....it hurts like h**l

It's hard to tell, depending on your nerve endings near the area and your pain tolerance. Some people say it didn't hurt any more than a regular piercing, but others will say it was the worst pain they've ever felt. I thought about getting mine done, but I pinched it first to see and it hurt pretty bad, so I figured if it hurt just to pinch imagine how it'd feel with a needle going through it .

You will feel it go in but the pain isn't much.

No more than it hurts getting anything pierced.  There are no nerves in your cartliage so it's just a quick pain.   Also, it will grow back if you don't keep an earring in there.

Not at all. I was so scared to get mine done, then i did and i was like "wow, why was i so scared" haha.

i got my lower cartilage done with a gun. (dont do that).  and it just felt like a pinch, but afterwards it was burning but there wasn't pain.  the healing process can hurt like when you sleep on it or bump it, but its worth it!
