Does it hurt to get your ear pierced im 14 will it hurt..?

It may feel like a little pinch but nothing more than that.

Afterwards it will probably feel a little weird because of course, you have a metal stick going through your ear.

Take some advil before and everyday for the next few days and you'll be fine!

Yes. It hurts a little, but it depends on how much they prep it before piercing it. Most stores doing it will use ice on the ear. This numbs it and then you don't feel so much of a pinch when the machine inserts the earring.  If it's cold enough, you don't really feel it too much.  

Don't risk infection by having someone who isn't trained in sterile procedures, pierce your ear or anything else. Go to a jewelry store in the mall or a reputable shop or salon that does piercings. Since you're under 18, you'll have to have a guardian or parent with you to give consent in most states.  Same with tattoos.  They won't do it, if you're a minor with no consent.

Make sure they're using sterile, clean equipment, lots of sterile saline (it doesn't sting like alcohol) and keep it clean and dry until it heals completely.

Follow the instructions they give you with your earring and aftercare kit.

yes it kills like h**l. my mom laughed at the look on my face when i got it done.

its very quick though and its just a bit sore afterward.

go for it, you won't regret it. you won't even care once its over.

i didn't get ice though. i got it done at claire's i think. see i'm not a baby i just didn't get ice ;p

It kind of feels like a shot real quick and then is a little sore for the rest of the night.  Then it is tender the next few days.  I hope you are getting it done by a professional.

take ur thumb and index fingernails and pinch bottom tip of ear lobe as hard as u can..literally as hard as u can, til it stings..thats what it will feel like. over in a minute and a lil numbness...not too painful

It will not hurt if pierced correctly and with ice. but just a tip, don't choose fake ones. I did once and my ears got infected.

it depends where you are getting it, like if you get it in the standard spot it doesn't hurt that much, you just feel like a like pinch.

Trust me, i've had my ears pierced multiple times because my hole keeps on closing up

I was watching Jon and Kate plus and and when Mady got her ears pierced she got both of done at the same time, I thought this was the perfect thing to do as the anticipation on the second pierce will not be as bad. It stings a little but wearing earrings are worth it. Take care!
