yes, any piercing hurts.

the risks are that it could get infected if you don't clean it and take care of it like they instruct you to.

as for getting your mom and dad to let you have it..that's up to you cause you know them and we don't. maybe you can convince them somehow.

Yes it hurts. There's the usual risk if infection and there is no way to get your parents let you have it done you ask them and try to convince them to let you have it.

Although just so you are aware the scar it leaves if you take it out looks like a giant blackhead :S

Yes it hurts a little bit if you get it done professionally, I didn't get my done professionally it hurt really bad.But if you get scared and work yourself up abt how much its gonna hurt then it will hurt really bad. Tell your parents that a noise piercing wont give guys ideas. Its just a piercing its not like your gettin a tattoo thats gonna last a life time unlike a piercing you can take it out and have a lil scar on your noise that wont be noticeable to others and if you have other piercing i dont see why they wont let you get your nose done...Good luck

Mine didn't hurt, really. It stung a little bit, and it made my eyes water and I felt like I had to sneeze, but it wasn't painful. There is always a risk of infection with piercings, so you have to make sure that you keep it clean. As far as your parents letting you get one, it really depends how they feel about piercings and how old you are. Just let your parents know that you want to get one and you have researched it and know about all the risks and requirements. Also, you should pay for it yourself to show that you are responsible enough to get one. I would recommend getting a small stone, so it doesn't look like you have a rock on your face. I have a very small little diamond and it is very cute and dainty. Good luck!

my mum came pretty close to crying but shes a wimp. it hurts as much as having a needle put through your skin.

theres always risk of infection so make sure you get it done in a clean hygenic place.

tell your parents you are going to get it done anyway so it may as well be in a reputable place when they know about it so there is a smaller risk.

dont replace the stud too quickly, that makes it hurt more and can swell up and get really hot.

Yep it hurts but only a little more than a cartilage piercing ... although if you get a ring put in it at first that hurts way more than a stud.

The risks are the same as any other piercing, infection mainly, but if you look after it it should heal fairly fast - in about 2 months.

I don't know about your parents, maybe beg or just go do it without permission if you're old enough - 16 is fine in England.

Oh and DON'T get it done with a gun, that can shatter your cartilage and also lead to way more infection, get it done with a needle.

Its not too bad, its just a very sharpe sting.  I would wait until your older though.  I got mine done at 16 but soon got fed up with it.  Luckily mine has heeled and left no marks.  

Just be sure its something that your not going to grow tierd of quickly, my Friend had been left with an ugly scar!

hey, i got my nose pierced about this time last year and i didnt feel a thing!! :) they did it with a gun so it was just like getting your ear pierced. risks? i guess infection, or if your stil at school you might not be allowed it in. aslong as you clean it with solution a few times a week it should be fine. you could talk to your mum and dad and convince them and see what happens or you could just go and get it without telling them but depending on your age its probly best to give them some warning or atleast let them know your thinking about getting it done. good luck :)

depends what you peirce it with - I had a mate who fell off his bike and managed to pierce his nose (well, his entire face, really) with a fence-post. I was reliably informed that it hurt like h**l.

Yes, it hurts a little. Since it's cartilidge, you'll hear it pop. But don't let that stop you from getting it done! Just make sure you really want it though because my friend took hers out and now the hole won't close up for about a year.. it looks like a huge blackhead on her nose! But good luck :]

OMG YES!!!!! OUCH!! and yes it can get affected my cousin just got hers and i was there watching her.... and if anything i'd get the top of my ear pierced or my belly button pierced, and it depends begging won't work, but if ur parents r softies then begging would work or crying but tell them the positive stuff about nose piercing! not the negatives
