  1. Just remember the mouth is the dirtiest part of the human body

  2. It only hurt for a spilt second,

the clipping the put on your tongue first hurts more then the actual thing.

    I'd rate it a 5

  3. Getting anything pierced hurts.

  4. I don't know what number of pain on the scale of painful it is because I've never gotten my tongue pierced but I have many close friends who have.

Yes it is very painful you're tongue will be swollen for a while, it gives you a lisp if you can talk and you have to eat baby food like things for a while. There is a high rate of infection if not pierced or maintained properly.

If your sister in law is up for that then:

She should make sure that the person who is piercing her tongue is experienced (licensed preferably) and uses sterile equipment. Once it's pierced she must pay close atention to cleaning and watching the piercing for infection or abnormalities.

  5. the piercing itself  is bearable - 4-ish. but  without maintaining hygiene in the weeks afterwards it can get a lot worse.

  6. Its uncomfortable, I'd say a 6 or so. Also, ask her to reconsider because she will break teeth on the tongue ring.

  7. No it doesn't, it depends on the person if they can take pain or not. It also deepends on how long and thick the tongue is!

  8. no, it feels good
