  1. No, it is actually pretty good feeling once they are done..

As for taking them off they will snip the wires and use a tool to take off the squares (sorry don't know what they are called)

  2. it doesnt hurt they just twist it off it just feels a little funny youll be ok

  3. when i had braces, he just pulled them off and after they were all removed, he got the glue left behind on the teeth off with one of those drill things.  Then polished my teeth I think.

I don't remember it being painful, just kinda blah.  The smell of the glue, the drill, etc.  I'm not a big fan of doctor office smells or anything that has to do with them.

Because you're so use to having that extra layer on your teeth, your braces, it's gonna feel a bit weird after they are removed.  It'll feel like your teeth and gums are further out than they really are.  But I think you'll feel great once you see the improvement and when you don't have to deal with them anymore.  It's exciting getting your braces removed.

  4. I'm one of the people who loves to give people advice on braces. I always tell my m8's that the orthodontist gets the nurse to hold you down and then he yanks them off. But it's not true. you don't even notice he's taking them off. They take the wire out first. Then they melts the glue that keeps them in place but your mouth doesn't get hot then the take them off. And there off.
