  1. It can hurt it just depends on what kind of delivery you had. Pooping shouldn't be painful make sure you drink plenty of fluids (esp fruit juices) or you can even ask for stool softeners as soon as you get to the post par tum room. If you tear & have stitches it can be uncomfortable but it just depends on how bad you tore. Also, if you did a lot of pushing you can be more swollen down there than if you get the baby out quickly. You may also have a pain in your back from the epidural too to deal with but that can be relieved with pain medication. Also, after you have your second baby when your uterus is contracting back down to it's normal size it is more painful again you can be made comfy with pain medication. It usually only lasted the day I gave birth & then the next day with it being uncomfortable to move around. I personally wouldn't say it hurt me but everyone is different as I'm sure you can tell from the answers you will be getting.

  2. ooooh yesss !!!! I had 46 stitches and it hurt sooo bad to pee it was worse then labor!!

  3. It hurt a little bit, but nothing compared to how bad labor hurts.  I didn't have to take any pain pills or anything after I delivered.  I think its more of an uncomfortable feeling than a painful feeling for me, I was more swollen down there than anything.

  4. Yes:]

  5. yeah a lil especially to p**p

  6. I just had a bay 11 days ago....I am feeling a lot better now, but I had to take lots of pain pills for the first few days!  I was sore all over!  It did hurt to walk, sit, lay, pee, poo, ect.......

  7. yes.  when your in the hospital they give you icepacks to sit on to help with pain and swelling.  about two weeks after is when I really started to feel better but up to that point I hurt pretty bad.

  8. Yeah it can hurt to walk, to sit, to pee or to p**p for awhile after having the baby.

  9. It depends. If you have an episiotomy (do a Yahoo search on that if you don't know what it is) it will be tender and may be sore depending on the degree of cut or tear. It usually lasts a few days. However, a natural childbirth with no cut is much easier and walking and sitting are quite easy - just like before birth. Tearing is easier on your body (for healing) than a cut. Either way, ice packs immediately after birth are helpful to reduce swelling and any discomfort.

If a c-section is performed then sitting and walking are painful because it's major surgery on your belly! Recovery is longer and takes longer to lose that pregnancy weight.

For most women, the joy of having their new baby far outweighs any discomfort they experience.

  10. yes and it depends on if you deliver naturally or by c section you are going to feel discomfort no matter how you deliver exspecually to p**p

  11. I've personally never had a baby but my friend did and right after she told me it hurt so badly to walk. It like burns or something 2 pee. I have no idea about this pooping thing but I would think it would hurt because u have 2 push it out.
