Does it make me Cheep for getting a gift for someone at a garage sale?

Is it wrong for me to want to save money? Its always something that I think they would like or be able to use. Something catches my eye and think that, so and so would like that so I get it for them. So does that make me cheep?

You can get some nice things at garage sales.

I don't think you are cheap.  I would call it thrifty.

Well, it is pretty sleazy. The only way that could be forgiven is if the item is something that you know will absolutely thrill the recipient.

If you just grabbed something cheap, then shame, shame!
