yeahh i do ta ka ta ka, that

and i know im doing it right, because i learned to do it 2 years ago, do you think maybe the problem could be that i have four teeth pulled on the top? like not middle four, but after those four two on the left, and two on the right

  1. Get your tongue further forward, in the Japanese style of *spitting rice* tonguing.  It will fall on the lip, between the teeth - like saying THICKA.  This way, you will not be hitting any braces appliances.

This takes effort to learn.  You will find that you SPIT a lot - and get spitballs - at first.  Stick with it.

  2. no. it doesnt. i played with my braces when i had them. but the only problem i had was that it hurted because my braces would get pushed onto my lips when i played and leave marks and it hurt.

and because double tonguing is inside your mouth, where there are no braces, it shouldnt be a problem. are you sure youre doing it right?

its just ta-ka-ta-ka-ta-ka-ta-ka... and it should be touching the roof of your mouth. not your teeth.

i know when i had my teeth taken out and when i sucked on it, it hurted. maybe cause our gums are sensitive and so when you tongue, itll put pressure on your gums and it hurts.

thats a lot of teeth to pull out. does it hurt when you do regular tonguing?

  3. maybe its been a while that you practised the double tanguing and u are not used to it. Try doing sound like q, at the top above your tongue, maybe its better.
