My vote is a resounding yes!

I believe as more nations participate in the Internation Space program the greater the opportunity for our world to experience global cohesion, cooperation, and concord.

I believe that through consensus, cooperation, and communication all things are possible.

What do you think?

I would really like to here what others think about this issue.

  1. how are you going to stop them?

  2. It would be nicer if they stopped oppressing their public...

  3. China joining the ISC would be an excellent way to foster cooperation between China and a large portion of the international community.  While we have recently been at odds with the country, we must realize that stability (economically and politically) are more essential than ever with the U.S.'s relations with the worlds largest country.  We have to realize that we will have to work together in the next coming years on many key issues that we will probably not agree with or want to work with, primarily energy and our battle between it.

  4. The answer to this question is really moot! They already have a space mission to the moon and no one could stop them if they wanted to, not even the United States of America or the European Union.  As an afterthought, maybe they'll find a safe place out there to migrate all of their unstoppably growing population.

  5. As long as they don't make or  paint the parts why not. I would hate for the whole thing to come crashing down to earth in a big ball of fire like Skylab.

  6. no one will allow them.  they are doing it anyway.

  7. The more the merrier.

be great to have the moon look like the outside of the UN with all the flags one day, ours is getting lonely up there, and I really wish luck to all nations and people in the advancement of mankind

  8. First, China is a dictatorship. A brutal one, by all accounts.

    A couple of questions:

    What are China's motives?

Are they technically ready to participate, or are they interested in the technology transfers -- to themselves?

Consider them, yes, but let them demonstrate their technological qualifications, first.

  9. It is interesting we in the west also say "Should we allow China .........this and that", little have we remembered that China has been around the block for more than 5000 years , how long have we been around ........ a little more than 200 years in the case of the US . No wonder young people in the West have no respect to their elders.
