  1. No, not really.  I don't do it but I have friends that do.  Usually that's not all they do though.  I think there is too much hype on pot and it should be legal.  Why can you grow 1 plant at your home and not get into trouble.  My husband planted a bunch of seeds outside the police station when he lived in florida, and they got HUGE before they got cut down.  That's freaking hilarious.

  2. other people pointing their fingers makes you a "druggie"

you wanna smoke weed, go for it, certainly less dangerous than other legal chemicals you can get your hands on.

  3. If your doing it because your doctor has perscribed it to you for a medical reason like cancer stuff..well then NO you arent a druggie.

But if your doinn drugs like an idiot for the fun of it..then YES your a druggie and a moron.

  4. I think of "druggies" as people who abuse drugs.  In general, occasional use of any drug isn't "abuse", whether or not it's prescribed, the same way that having a beer or two isn't "abusing" alcohol.  If the drug use interferes with your other responsibilities, then it's a problem, but if it's done socially and in moderation, I don't see the term "druggie" applying.

If it's a drug that is prescribed for a legitimate purpose and it is taken according to the instructions, that isn't abuse either.  If it's a prescription that was obtained by making up symptoms, that's getting closer to abuse, but then you just revert to the above criteria re: occasional vs. more than occasional.

  5. You say that light being a druggie is a bad thing. People and religions have used drugs to enlighten themselves for thousands of years. Either your a stupid *** or your not, the drugs don't make much difference.

  6. Do we classify those who drink alcohol occassionly or have a whiskey as a nigthcap as alcoholics? no we dont, so there is your answer

  7. No, i wouldnt classify them as druggies. I dont consider it really being a drug. People get in bad accidents drinkin but you dont hear about people dying in accidents from smokin a little herb. I think it should be more legal then drinking. And people are goin thru sum sh** if they need it for medicinal purposes so dont judge them people. Everyone has an opinion and they will label people regardless.

  8. yes if taken medicinally then they are most likely 'druggies' (addicted)  there are lots of addicts that are addicted to prescribed meds.  And many time they are much worse than the druggies that take street drugs because they are taking drugs with a true mission which is to end their pain.  But, they become immune and the pain gets worse and so does their intake of drugs.  they are medically prescribed druggies.

  9. Yes they have done it in the past and like the effect, of stepping out of reality and wont to go for it any way they can.

  10. Only if you steal my wallet when I'm not looking..........and then smile at me and say goodbye.

  11. I think of a druggie as doing drugs a lot, and doing a bunch of different drugs.

  12. No.There are certain things that make you a druggie.

  13. Yes it does make you a druggie. Even if you do it occasionally it doesn't matter you are still doing drugs which makes you a druggie.

  14. No, I don't smoke pot but people who do it occasionally are "druggies" in my book. I know people that would say otherwise but when you are sacraficing your money for food, clothes, rent and your family for your drugs, then you are a druggie. When you smoke more than you work or hang with friends or spend time with family, you are a druggie.

    Does that make sense?

It's like I drink pry once a week but that (in my opinion) doesn't make e an alcaholic. If I skip a few weeks I don't get crainky, headaches, sweaty, I just look forward to the next get together with my friends.

  15. "Druggie" is not a clinical term, it's a poetic term, a literary device.

There is no 'set' definition or standard.  It's basically just a matter of degree.  Many of my pot smoking friends considered me a 'druggie' because I used heroin for several years.  However, I also remember, back in high school, when my sister labeled someone a 'druggie' because she saw the person smoking a cigarette.

As a general rule, I would stay away from labeling people.  It just causes intolerance and hate.  A 'druggie' could be an upper-class housewife who takes Valium, or it could be a pot-smoking hippie....but calling them a 'druggie' doesn't give you any specific information about that person.
