Does it make you laugh when people thumbs down your answer just because they don't like you?

Lots of similar answers and only mine got thumbs down. Aw boo hoo - I'm all hurt now. Is this bullying? Have I been bullied? Please let me know so that I can whinge appropriately.

I consider a thumbs up or down a sign that my answer hit a spot in someone, even if it is a negative spot, and made them think.  No one knows who I am so I do not take it personally.  I am not the icon picture by my name, lol.

The thumbs up/down shouldbe used appropriately, not like pathetic people use it for, just because they think there answer is better.

Its ok if the answer is irrelevant, or down right stupid, but some people on here just use it to make theres look better, or that there jealous with you answer.

Pathetic. Get a grip people, use it properly.

people can have a differing opinion from me, as life would be so, so boring if we all agreed, all the time!

If I were You I'd stop letting them get to you or taking the thumbs down personally.

It puzzles me, really. I thumb-down some answers when I disagree with them, but I've seen loads of examples of thumbs downs for perfectly factual and non-contraversial answers and I just don't get the point!

Yes. Sometimes I put a straight answer and someone gives me a thumbs down. Their problem, no mine.

I really don't care - when I get a thumbs down I just shake my head and figure they didn't want facts (which I include links to back up ) They just wanted someone to blindly agree with them .

If I give an opinion - I say so.

Don't have to agree with that but I am upfront when I think someones question is asinine.

Yahoo is open to all and that includes those who may be childish as well as those who act like adults , so you will get people who vote you down , just as the same as you'll get [ppeople who will vote for best answers even though they are wrong!!!

well sounds like you cant take a few thumb down and have to whine a bit in this question to feel better. I generally expect thumb down on my answer because not all people think the same and you cant satisfy them all. I dont care because Im here to express and share my thought, not pleasing the crowd or seeking best answers.
