  1. I would suggest you use 4 way stretch. Is it worth having a pretty dress that is uncomfortable?

I'm sure you can find equally nice 4 way stretch fabric. : )

  2. Stay with the 4 way stretch.  Back in the day when 2 way stretch velvet was new, I had a leotard made out of it and it wedgied really bad.

Think about it this way, if you went with two way stretch, which way are you going to lay it out?  Would the stretch go the long way for your girth measurement or for your bust/waist/hips?

You can always use the 2 way stretch for accents or the skirt.  I would stay away from it for the whole dress.

  3. no use the 4 way because you want rhe dress to fit you perfect way you want it to. so you can fit it better ok so just take my edvice ok

  4. It is usually better to stay with the 4 way stretch, but just follow your pattern. I would suggest going by what your pattern says and calls for in the fabric section since this is important in how the dress will look and fit.
