yes it matters. it no longer has the effects. throw it out

Whitening toothpaste doesn't work in the first place. I went to the dentist and got whitening trays that brightened my teeth in 4 - 15 minute applications. Just go this route if you want real results.

the toothpaste wont get you sick or give you some weird mouth disease or anything but the whitener defiantly wont work, but since your not ingesting it you'll be fine to use it if that's all you have.
