Does it matter if tortoises head butt each other?

I have 3 tortoises and recently the younger one has been head butting the other 2 older ones for no reason. The younger one is bigger than the other 2 older ones for some reason. Is it a problem and does it phisically hurt the other tortoises because they are getting head butted?

  1. First off , check they yonger one to see if he's a male, then check the others. If the young one is a boy and your 2 other are females, then he wants to mate. if the 3 others are males too they are just fighting. Try to seperate them if this doesn't stop.
