My mother-in-law uses these really CHEAP baby bottle for my 4 month old whenever she goes over there....I always use the same bottles everytime I feed her. Is this okay to do? Could there be anything wrong with switching from using the same kind of bottles to suddenly using a cheap regular bottle?

  1. It's very unlikely that a commercially available baby bottle would harm a child, and just changing from one type to another doesn't make a difference. We must have had five or six different kinds, I made up 18 bottles a day for my son, he was an eater!

  2. I would say if your baby accepts either bottle and does not get fussy, refuse to eat, etc then it is fine.  However, if you are concerned about where the bottle is made, what kind of plastic it is made from, etc then I would purchase some of the bottles you like and give them to her. Take them over and leave them. Just tell her your concerns and ask her if she would keep the bottles you purchased at her home and use them when your baby is over there.

  3. unless the baby shows a problem with liking them, there is no problem. why dont you just bring the bottles you use over there when she has the baby?

  4. Hi

I'm sure it's ok as long as they are clean, what would it matter? Unless your baby is sensitive to latex?

I've had four kids and things like that never hurt them! Least your baby is getting fed?
