I heard that you get more out of your walking/running workout when you do it in the morning. Is that true? I only have time at night to walk and run. Am I wasting my time or am I still getting the same outcome as if I were to run in the morning. I also cant see myself waking up really early to run around the blockk.

Also, how many miles 4x a week should I walk ?

And how many times a week should I run and for how long to get an outcomes?

..I also heard that running gives you a flatter belly.

  1. it doesnt matter the time of day

  2. Any type of work out raises your metabolism for a period of time after the work out is complete. Workouts close to bed time can make sleep difficult but evening work outs are fine. Exercise when you can it's NOT a waste of time in the evening. In fact most people work out after work or later.

Running does help your core to some extent. It requires your core muscles to hold you in position while running. between toning your core and any weight loss you will see a flatter belly.

  3. in the mourning you wont be as tiered

  4. no difference about working out morning/night.

You can work out every day if you rest enough.

Running doesnt necessarily give you a flat belly, but you will lose weight as a rsult of running

  5. Work whats best for you.  I prefer mornings, but some days it works out to be evenings or late afternoon.  It least your out there maintaining your fitness.  Vary your mileage per run/walk, say 2miles, one day, 4miles  and 5miles on your long run/walk days.  Slowly up your mileage no more than 10% per week.  Cross train to help reduce injuries. (swimming, cycling, pool running, yoga, etc)

I run 3-4X/wk, yoga 1X/wk, cycle 1X/wk, swim 1X/wk and whatever else in between.  It depends on your fitness level and what your goals are.  Keep up the good work! :)

  6. Only if you want a tan.
