lol, I guess it's just to discourage people from asking too many stupid questions.

Apparently it doesn't both some people, who willingly give up their 10 points to ask stupid questions like, "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?", or "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?".  

What bothers me is that people ask dumb questions that really have no answer, or have been asked a million times!

If there was no penalty for asking questions, imagine how many more of these stupid questions we would have to endure!
