Does it matter what kind music deck i put in my 99 sunfire?

i have a 4 door 99 sunfire... the tape deck doesnt work.. looking to put in a deck.. any suggestions

im a fan of alpine headunits. i use a alpine 9887 and i absolutely love it its by far the nicest head unit i have used. it is expensive ($400) but i have used a few others of theres and there still really good i would say for around 150-220 range you can get a really good headunit from them.
