Yeah, vodka goes with pretty much anything.

I've heard of gin, but its a little strong sometimes.

You can use brandy, if you really want to use it for that. It would have a fruity flavor.

vodka, since it has a pretty neutral flavor, seems to work the best. You could use anything, but a wide range of people would probably prefer the vodka.

No but the cups matter! make you sure you get the EZ-Squeeze jello shot cups!!! they work the best!

Vodka is the best alcohol to use, but it really depends on taste, another good one is Malibu, or white rum , if you fancy some thing a little more tropical...

I always use vodka, but you could try other kinds, I don't think it would matter much

We sometimes use flavored Schnapps like peach in orange jello for a fuzzy navel. Sometimes rum in strawberry jello,  or even tequila in lime for a margarita flavor it depends on whatever we have on hand.

It depends on what tastes you like and how strong you want it.Vodka and green apple jello is pretty good.

Vodka is used the most. But a cool little thing you may want to do is to soak some gummi bears in vodka and add one to each shot. That'll make them really strong!
