Where are you talking about? In the US??   I took a real estate course 15 years ago that was $300, it was 8 hours a day for 2 weeks, then took my exam and passed at the end.  As long as you have your license, it does not matter where you take the class.  Your potenital income as a realtor is based on sales, otherwise it is based on your personality, etc, and has nothing to do with where you took a class for your license.  The class is like an SAT prep course, very easy.

It makes almost no difference.  You have to pass the real estate test then you can choose the real estate company you work for.  The schools should teach you about the same thing and hopefully enough that you can pass the test, but thats about it.
