Question:

Does it matter what type of mattress foundation you use with a memory foam mattress?

Can I go with a cheap one? Or a memory type boxsprings? I'm getting a king size bed..but want to go cheap and sleep comfortably

  1. When I bought my Temperpedic Memory Foam mattress, the salesman told me that I would invalidate the warranty if I used any foundation other than the one they sell to match.  The foundation was really reasonably priced...much less than box springs would have cost.

    I love it, BTW...and recommend memory foam highly!


  2. I love my tempurpedic mattress also. We had it 4 years, when it started to break down. They replaced it with no problems, but wouldn't have if we invalidated the warranty by using the wrong box springs.
