Does it mean I am really fertile?

Does the amount of cervical mucus you have say how fertile you might be. I've always had a lot and never knew what it really was (as I was to embarrassed to ask if any of my girlfriends experienced it) but now that I am trying to get pregnant I've realized what that actually is. I usually (before I was on birth control I've now stopped and my body is still trying to get back to normal) would have a fair amount Does the amount that come out an indication of how fertile you are?

Not exactly. It tells you that the sperm will have a better time getting through the cervix and into the tubes, but even that doesn't indicate the acidity of the CM which could be hostile to your partner's sperm. Additionally, it gives no indication of hormone levels (FSH or progesterone; making good eggs or being able to ensure implantation viability), or whether you're even ovulating. But it's great that you get good CM because it will help you to know your most likely ovulation dates and the best time to BD! Be sure to Google 'EWCM' and learn the various types of CM during your cycle, so you know when you're getting the fertile stuff. Much of your CM is not fertile, so you need to know the different kinds. Good luck!!!

No, each person is different and have different levels. It doesnt mean you are extra fertile or anything like that. Its just your different from every other woman!

I know this is too much info but yrs ago when i ovulated i would get bad stomache cramps and had a lot of whiteish stringy mucous to see if u r very fertile when its on ur fingers close ur fingers together then open them slowly if it sticks to both fingers with out breaking ur very fertile i dont get this now but i know i still ovulate every mth coz it hurts.

Possibly yes and no. It sounds like all passages are clear meaning higher fertility, but then again I have had friends who didn't have alot of mucus and get prego on birth control. Good luck
