  1. Since neither of those is a name, what are you talking about?

  2. Not me!  I find that it is just showing respect.

  3. It doesnt offend me, but I often wonder if they are just that scared of the use of the name of the Lord our God.

  4. What in god's name are you talking about?

  5. No of course not. I accept that different traditions have different ways of showing respect to divine beings.

I don't take offense at people capitalizing "god" either, even though I choose not to.

  6. I never noticed it until you brought it up, but now that you mention it yes.  If your going to say it, say it.  How is leaving out a letter changing the meaning or usage.  I'm pretty sure God knows what you are saying.  It's not like spelling in front of a two year old.

It doesn't offend me because I find it fundamentally incorrect, I find it offensive because it is dumb.

  7. I choose to offend people by not capitalizing the word 'god' in reference to christianity.

  8. Are you serious?

Is this like not being able to say Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter?

  9. No, i am not offended.

I do, however use full spelling and capitalization; when referring to my Lord and God B/C, He has appeared in the flesh; the temple curtain is torn And i have been granted full access to the Holy of Holly's.

Having developed a close personal relationship with the Creator, my Lord and God i find no reason to do otherwise.

Further, I know i will never have to endure criticism for doing so from other members whom are of the family of God.

    Shalom

  10. The offence is not to me, but to the Lord, Hallowed be thy name.

    tGod bless

  11. I am not offended.

I never capitalize the biblical bigot because that is no god.

  12. I prefer to refer to your deity as "god".

  13. No. If someone chooses to be offended by that, they need to get out more.
