Because I'm 16 and I'm so sick of the homophobia around teenagers my age and younger, I'm so sick of not being able to talk about guys without being frowned upon, I'm so sick of falling for straight guys, I'm so sick of losing friends JUST because I'm g*y, and I'm so sick of getting upset about this. I am fully accepting of myself as a homosexual, but life can just get too complicated sometimes.

Does it get better?

  1. You're only 16, you have your hole life ahead of you, homophobia is everywhere. There really not your friends if they judge you for who you are. True friends are out there. I would wait till your 18 or 19 to have s*x though. Old school here.

  2. Boy........you 16, life aint gettin any easier.  Grow a pair and be mentally tough for the future.

  3. i hope so as im 16 too

  4. it does get better

it'll get better eventually, always look forward

im 15 and its gotten better already

  5. Well I am 16 too.

AND I aint gonna give you some BULLSHlT that it's all gonna be sunshine and rainbows soon because that's a LIE.

I got kicked out of home, was homeless, did some nasty things, got beat  up at school etc...

It isn't easy but FU(K it could be a whole lot worse.

Relax a little mate, there are ALWAYS going to be teething problems, there are other LGBT teens out there (It's like 1 in 10) and remember all straight guys are a little curious... *wink*

  6. I'm 16 also so I hope so. But on the internet it will never get "better". Too many stupid ignorant 12 year olds.

  7. You're only 16 and the people you're around most of the time are probably the same age. They need time to grow up and get lives of their own. When they do, they won't be so worried about your life. Most of my g*y friends have come to realize that it's their life, and they are who they are. For them, it has gotten better.

  8. It may or may not, but the internet will never get any better.

  9. It will get better. It will reach the optimum when you find your love.

  10. Yes, it will get better.  Once you get away from the house/school that you grow up in.  Once you get away, you are really able to be yourself and people will like you based on that person.  What is probably happening now is that people have always thought of you as being one way and now that has changed and they are having a hard time dealing with it, but that is their problem not yours!

  11. Yes and no.  People are usually offended by people who are comfortable with their sexuality.  You are always going to meet people who don't agree and object to your life style but truly they have no right to judge you.  You have to be who you are and be happy lose the friends who don't serve you.  You will find a circle where you fit and are accepted and then it will get easier.

  12.   yeah , it does , but society is run by  homophobes , and that will not change overnite .
