Does it rain alot in Mexico,Cancun in the month of June?

Hello, me and my girlfriend are thinking of going to cancun in june but are just worried that we will have a holidayy full of rain??? has anyone ever been to cancun in june and does it rain alot? thanks

We went in June, and didn't have any rain all week.  And I think there was actually some rain that had been forecast.  You take a chance on a hurricane coming through, but those are usually later in the summer and into the early fall.  

We found the weather to be great when we were there.  Hot, but great.

Cancun is classified as a tropical desert. That means that we receive very little rain but still have high humidity.

You have an 83% chance of having great weather according to statics and that sounds like great odds to me.

On the other hand June is in the so called "hurricane" season but most of the storms happen later in the year (like September or October.)

We really don't know what the weather will actually be (just like at your home) so no matter what the odds or what the weather Cancun is beautiful with warm seas, white beaches and a tropical breeze.

So, you and you girl pack your bags and come on down!

yes it does rain, but it never lasts long. it will only last about 5-10 minutes
