Does it rain every day in Cancun??

Question

We're going on our (delayed) honeymoon in a few weeks to the Mayan Riveria and for about a month now, and for the next 10 days for that matter, it forecasts rain rain rain rain. I can't see how it can rain in Cancun everyday, all day for three months straight!

Does anyone know the real weather pattern in Cancun?

Summer is the rainy season as it brings tropical storms and hurricanes.

Usually it rains at night, and at day you have sunshine!

The rain season here (I'm in México) is summer (right now), as someone told you already. But it is not like the rainy weather in northern areas, here we have sunshine (really hard!) and hot weather while rain season. You'll see. Even if there is a hurricane, it only rains one or two days at most.

In Mexico it rains during the rainy season which is usually May through September or October. That doesn't mean it rains constantly. Some places it rains mostly in the mornings, some areas mostly afternoons and some mostly at night. Everyday or nearly every day there will be a refreshing shower or rain storm. Then it will be sunny. Not drizzling all the time like Seattle.

when it rains here is only for a bit or couple of days  max 2, after that is all sunny just like now..

never trust the forecast, u will believe me till u come!

ps. our mayan weather god is crazy
