  1. Yes it does. Some seasons have less rain, and the atacama desert has none, but as a rule, yes. And bring bug spray too.

  2. Well...I'm from South America and it depends on the seasons and their changes.....

Right now there is heavy rainfall in my home country Guyana....lots of heavy rain fall...but the rainy season is usually in May.....so its started early and i think that has to do with global warming....so now its flood in most parts of Guyana...

  3. If you go to Lima in Peru.......no

  4. depends on the country and season.

  5. Most countries have wet seasons and dry seasons.  It's usually rainiest from late summer to early winter when it can rain pretty much every day at least for a little bit.

When I was in the tropics, it would be bright and sunny in the morning and then we would get a short very heavy rain storm for about an hour every afternoon in the rainy season.  Once in a while it would rain all day, but it was uncommon.

  6. in  the jungle  , ofcourse  yes :)

  7. it all depends on where your living.

  8. It depends on where you go! A lot of people mistake ALL of Latin America for the Rainforest, that's only a portion of it! If you go the Amazon in Brazil, it probably rains a little bit every day, in the afternoon, before the sun goes down.

If you go to other places (eg, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina), then it's not different than the States!
