Does it rain much in the dominican september time?

hey all,,ive decided to go to the dominican on hols this september,,,has anyone been this time of year??? does it rain alot??? x thanx

It may rain rain sometimes, but not for long (15 min) and then

sun again!  Don't worry here in Puerto Plata it is always better than elsewhere. Happy to help you

Just hope no hurrican hits! Otherwise it's great, it might rain a bit but you're in the ocean anyway so what's the big deal. Great Island and easy to get to. Love the people, food and sun. Whatever you want you'll find in the D.R.

It's the caribbean, it rains every day.  Luckily because it is an island, the rain doesn't last long, and ten minutes later everything is bone dry.  Don't worry about rain, worry about hurricanes.

I went there in Sept of 07.  We did have a little bit of rain but nothing to ruin a vacation.  It would rain, usually mornings, for about 10 to 15 minutes straight and that would be it.  After that, is was all back to the sunshine.  I think we had 2 days of rain when I was there that only lasted 10-15 minutes in the morning.

It is hurricane season. June 1- Nov 30th. Chances are you will get some showers.
