Hurricane and rainy season. Not the best time. Weather is alot like Florida. Hot humid, mosquito's and an afternoon thunderstorm.

If a system develops ( not even a hurricane ) it then will be some pretty long tropical downpours. Possibly 2 / 3 days - never know.

If a hurricane does look threatening - I'll be honest : i would not want to be in Cancun for it.

Always buy trip insurance for this season in the Yucatan. November thru April is paradise - Clouds in Acapulco is a weather event. Low humidity and mosquito's followed you back to the states.

yes most probably after August 15 rain season begin and be carefully if you are traveling there in that time cause is also hurricane season...
