Does it really rain lots in Mexico?

the forcast for the mayan Riviera area says all next week its suppose to be scattered showers! I'm so bummed! Does this mean no suntanning? Or will it not rain that much??

We are currently in the dry season (believe me, I know; Mexico City is famous because of the tremendous rainfall), so in the really oddball case it will rain, it will probably be slight showers, even in the Peninsula.

It would probably be better if it rained a little to cool down the weather a bit. Those regions are insanely hot and humid.

I live in mexico and it rains but not a lot less in this seasons, it star to rain a lot in may to september

Lets see we are in march so it can rain but dont think it will pour everyday. Its usually the rainy saeason in may through sept...

I went to cancun for my 18th birthday. I was excited, until I looked at the weather and it said the same thing, LOTS OF RAIN!! I was bummed, but when I got there, it was really hot, it would get cloudy for a little bit but still sunny enough to darken up my white body lol...When it rained, it was really light, and felt amazing!! Still hot enough to get out! But yea, you should be okay. If it rains, it will prob still be nice!! & whatever hotel  you are staying out with probably make up for it, with really great/fun activities inside the hotel! Have fun in mexico!!!
