If not, then is this more of a personal belief issue rather a religious belief issue?

  1. ITS BIBLICAL. Read about Sodom and Gomorrah for yourself to see what God thought/thinks of g**s. Now, if he disapproved of that, saying it was UNCLEAN, UNNATURAL AND PERVERTED, why on earth would He want them to have kids?? It's definitely a BIBLICAL issue. Take it up with God, that's where your answer lies.

  2. it says in the bible not to be g*y...

  3. Meh they need to get the giant cross out of there *** and start treating people like people.

The bible says to hate g**s and that is what they will do, you can't expect any more from them.

  4. Jehovah God does not hem us in with laws governing every aspect of our daily lives. Hence, in the course of each day, we may encounter many situations for which there are no specific Bible commands. In such cases, how can we know what will be pleasing to Jehovah? The Bible contains clear indications of God's way of thinking. As we study the Bible, we learn what Jehovah loves and what he hates. We come to discern attitudes and actions that he values. The more we learn about Jehovah's personality and ways, the more we will be able to let his thinking mold our decisions and influence our actions. Thus, even in situations where there is no specific Bible law, we can often perceive "what the will of Jehovah is." (Ephesians 5:17)

For example, the Bible contains no direct command telling us that g*y couples should not adopt children. But do we really need a specific law for such things? His word plainly tells us: "for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error...Although these know full well the righteous decree of God, that those practicing such things are deserving of death, they not only keep on doing them but also consent with those practicing them." (Romans 1:26, 27, 32)

And also: "“Whoever stumbles one of these little ones that believe, it would be finer for him if a millstone such as is turned by an *** were put around his neck and he were actually pitched into the sea.” (Mark 9:42)

  5. The Bible actually says that a person demonstrating g*y behavior should be put to death...being dead kind of precludes a person from adopting a child.

  6. No.

    Yes.

  7. Before answering this Read Lev 18 Sweetie. It has some of the 613 Laws of the first four books, and most of them are still in affect. God(God+o=Good) frowns on things outside of what he Made and designed. So yes if a law is broken, to then receive something will in the previous law yes. Adoption is not against the Law just the laws of the Bible on our designed sexuality yes. Seeing on the g*y side , I have some facts(out of thousand + couples) on Male and Male relationships The life span for a man with AIDS is =39 years and a Man without AIDS in this type of lifestyle is = 41 years, WOW 3 more years.not a good average  over a man (heterosexual) able to average live up to 80+ years. If we obey God's Laws and in doing so we are not asking for trouble(D+evil=Devil). For any person that is in same , or both lifestyle relationships, please I pray you will go look at Exodus International.com

  8. nope, but it also doesnt say to look both ways before you cross the street..

gotta use that innate discernign god given wisdom

  9. People don't like the idea of "icky" or "gross" couples having children.

It's sad really, that our society isn't past that kind of c**p.

  10. I don't know what the Bible says about homosexuality or adoption.

  11. Nothing at all about g*y 'couples,' in any manner.

Homosexuality, yes; it's an abomination against God.

Think of it like this: if you're in a homosexual relationship,

you can't procreate in the first place.

So, then a child would not be brought into the house.

So, then what follows, is no children,

should be brought into the house.

You are living against your natural purpose.

If you were not a homosexual, then you could have children,

And then there would be no reason to adopt.

( Unless of course there were something wrong.)

    For me it's not personal.

I didn't give my personal opinion.

It's what is in the Bible.

    Having a Bible-trained conscience,

    along with logical reasoning ability.

  12. from a christian view this is un- answerable.this is like have you stop beating your wife yet. yes or no gets you in trouble.

  13. The whole thing with homosexuality and abortion is a personal belief issue. I think that if they can afford a child then by all means raise the kid. It'll help out immensely.

  14. The child getting teased and harassed all through school might be a reason not to.  You should always think of the child first, if not, you should not be parents anyway.  Who would you be helping?  Yourself or the child?  Something to think about.

  15. right

  16. you already f**ked up by being g*y wtf is the use of caring now plus the child doesn't want to be adopted by g*y peoples leave them alone

  17. Adopting children is a different issue. g**s are not supposed to be 'couples' according to the Bible.

  18. Um, it says a man cannot lie with a man... as long as you tell the truth...

    :-)

No there's nothing in there that says g*y couples cannot adopt. :)

    Many have.

  19. sodomism is prohibited in the first place

  20. lol.

    Sure g**s can adopt....

    .....right after the stoning.

Now Jesus may have nixed the Death Penalty, but the Bible clearly defines homosexuality as a sin.

The issue of adoption does not come up because g*y s*x is considered an abomination, much less g*y couples.

I cannot speak to the personal beliefs of individuals, but the prohibition of g*y adoption would a reasonable interpretation of the Biblical intent.

Christians are not, if you forgive the pun, pulling this one out of their @ss.

  21. No, the Bible does not say "g*y couples can't adopt children."

What it DOES say is that their homosexual practice is ABOMINATION (a particularly vile sin in God's view).

If a homosexual practitioner truly loved a child, he or she would leave them strictly alone, hoping they would learn of God and God's forgiveness and salvation.  The problem is, a homosexual practitioner cannot have true and godly love in them, just lust and vileness (Romans 1:27).

Yes, a homosexual CAN repent of sin, be saved, and forsake that sin!

  22. Many Christians are like McCain who stated several weeks back that the children are better off with NO parents than with g*y parents.

Nice and compassionate.  No one seems to be concerned for the children who are now languishing and in many cases, greatly harmed, in our group homes.

Where are all the compassionate Christian couples out there who seem not to care about these children?

    ===================================

and ETERNAL h**l replied in part:  "The child getting teased and harassed all through school might be a reason not to."

And just why do you suppose this might happen?  Because Christian Children are taught intollerance and bigotry as they grow up?

  23. I never read in the Bible that g**s could not adopt children.  What I have read is that g**s were not allowed to breathe.  From this I can gather that if some poor g*y couple managed to escape the mobs that were hurling stones at them, that they would be denied the love of a child, though.

  24. It says in the Bible that being g*y is wrong so to answer your question yes

    look up Leviticus !8:22

  25. There were no g*y couples in the Bible -- because homosexuals would have been stoned to death.  I guess that MIGHT be saying something about them being able to adopt.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I hold that stance.  I am simply reporting the Biblical laws regarding homosexuality.

I have repeatedly upheld g*y rights.
