  1. definitely not too early. my daughter cut her first tooth when she was 10 weeks old, i am not kidding. it was the top back one. i took her to the doctors to ask about teething gel, and he laughed at me and told me not to be ridiculous she wasn't teething at 10 weeks, well he put on a glove and felt her gum and apologised with a rather red face. he told me it was possible that she could have been born with her tooth like that, and that babies can start teething at any age really. ( this after looking at me like i was was crazy) since then she has had about 5 lumps come up but they always seem to go back down, only that first one cut through. apparently some babies just start cutting teeth early

  2. All kids are different, but the time frame is right.  Do not worry and enjoy as he starts to chew everything in sight.

  3. I believe that it is right on time.  I have a iece and she is 10 months and she has 4 on the bottom and 2 on the top.  But remember that every child is different, so there is really no "normal or right" time.  Just enjoy your little one and watch him grow!

  4. It's definitely possible!

Johnny got his bottom two at 4.5 months.  He started teething again right around 7.5 months, I saw the teeth up top and everything... And then they disappeared!  Now, at 9 months, I can see them again and they are just starting to poke thru.  Hopefully it will be any day now.... :)

  5. my son get his first two bottom at 5 months and then got his top two at 6 months. it just depends on the child when they will get their teeth. some do not get teeth until they turn well over 6 months old (daughter got her first at 10 mo.).

  6. my kid got 2 on bottom, and is now just finishing off 6 on top. and the way she started acting the last two days i can tell she is getting more.  they are all different.  they usually have all their teeth by about two :-)

  7. From the averages I seen, getting teeth at these ages is a little on the early side.  My son was 5 1/2 months for his two bottom teeth and at 7 months came the top two teeth.  He was a little off at times but I didn't know it was happening until they broke through and I saw them.  He got 4 more teeth when he was 8 months old and now at one year is getting his twelve month bottom molars.  He's not wanting to eat sometimes but when I put on some Anbesol then he will eat.

  8. my daughter popped out her bottom two at right about 6 months top to at 7 months then the 2 more on the top and bottom between 8 and 10 months then at 11 months got 3 out of 4 of her molers.. anything is possible
