it seems like the draft had a lot of good players over the past several years & with all the Euros playing here now, does it seem like NBA basketball is getting better & more competetive cause of so many good teams with good players? I mean look at the west there are like 10 playoff quality teams there & the east top 5 are good & if you look at some of the weaker teams & the additions theyve made even they look better...is it just me thinking this or do you disagree?

also this wouldnt be a question on yahoo without mentioning kobe sooooo...does all this mean that kobe will never be able to win without shaq?

seriously though my actual question is the 1st part, not the kobe ref.

  1. haha i like your this wouldnt be a yahoo answers question without mentioning kobe...so.

    its hella true though.

  2. The NBA is still a watered down league!!There are to many teams. There are players starting now that wouldn't have even made the team 15 yrs ago.

  3. i am going to look for a steady decrease in skill level with the teams, with all the players playin in europe and stuff. There not superstars going over there, but the role players that make your team better.

  4. Like Sir Charles Darwin said, "Creatures don't evolve only in physique but in every different aspect also,"

Yes, Kobe will not win a championship without Shaq.

  5. No. Take Jordan for example. Had Dean Smith not thought Jordan defense and forced him to practice jump shots, Jordan would never had become the Greatest.  Lebron should have gone to college.

Right now, it's just that players are forcing to wait a year after high school to be eligible for the NBA draft.  So we are given a hyped up preview.  But these newbies are still weak!

The NBA is drafting more freshmen than any other grades.  Don't be fooled by the hype.  How much could they have learned in a year?

Kobe may win without Shaq, when he takes up a secondary role.  Let's face it, Kobe can't lead.

  6. Well all teams are getting better, but they won't compete with powerhouses like Heat[I think they will have a comeback], Lakers, Pistons, or Celtics.

And your last paragraph.. Were you trying to be funny?

Oh wait the 12 year old above me thought it was funny.

  7. Yup But Some Are Just Getting better At Offense Only And That Won't Allow You To Win The Finals

  8. Yes, I've had trouble picking bad teams recently!
