It's such a public and media frenzied race that absolutely everything about ever candidate and their family is going to come under scrutiny. No family is perfect. Not by every standard. Sara Palin's daughter plans on marrying her boyfriend, the father of her unborn child. I think that says a lot about their family's strength and morals.

Palin's youngest son, at 4 months old, has down syndrome. Are you going to hold that against her, too? Or do you not think that the challenges the Palin family has faced and will face in the future even more so qualify her to make tough decisions?

wed or not. I believe the fact that she is a woman and she is in the white house is an accomplishment in itself. Not that the really IS a woman running for prez, just vice prez. But you don't get to the white house easily, and I would proudly show my daughter that it is possible that  she could run for president wed or not.

She preaches about abstaining but her daughter is pregnant.  She didn't want a class that taught about getting pregnant or prevention of and more.  So it was banned from all the schools in her state.  She is also Republican and they talk a lot about family values.  I believe it should be you practice what you preach.  On the other hand, it's her personal life, as long as it isn't influencing her political agenda, it shouldn't matter, she is only a human.  Not super mom or anything.

Have our elected officials provided good examples in the past?  Not always.

The matra back when Bill Clinton was running was "It's the economy, stupid".    This was in response to questions about his own morals and not Chelsea's.   Suddenly, high morals are an issue with Democrats.   Very interesting.

Secondly, she is a kid who would have no direct influence over policy, she should be left out of the equation all together.  She clearly has enough to deal with without all your bull.
