  1. Yes everywhere In New Zealand, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania!

    In Australia it can snow south of Sydney

    In New Zealand south of Taupo

In Australia it snows in a very small area of the southeast of the country (The Snowy Mtns) during the winter only.  The rest of the time there is no snow.  It does however occasionally snow in other high places, but there aren't that many high places, (above 1000m) and the snow usually melts pretty quickly due to our warm climate.

    In NZ on the other hand they have a much higher Mtn range on the South Island and there are some places where there is year round snow.  For skiing and snowboarding NZ is much better.
