Does it snow anywhere on Earth in August?

Many places in different hemispheres would usually get different weather patterns.

For example, when we are enjoying summer, Australia will be dealing with a cold winter.

When we are dealing with a cold winter, Australia will be enjoying their summer time.

In south america, it is winter.  besides the poles, contries like Argentina get snow in our summer months

It's winter time down in the Southern Hemisphere. So many places get snow during June-August like Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa etc.. Also if temperatures are cold enough locations in the Arctic Circle can get snow but most places it's too warm.

Yes here in Yukon sometimes it snows but usually is gone by the end of the day.  Actually anywhere in the north of 60 degrees. That is Alaska, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, Snow can happen anytime of the year in the north.

There was a small snow shower here last Friday morning about 8.45 am.  Canberra, Australia.  Lasted 5 minutes.  In the mountains 120km south there are ski resorts.

Well definately the north and south poles as mentioned. But also in places like Australia where the year is backwards from ours. When we are in Summer they are in winter and vice versa.

Of course it does!!,as previously mentioned,this planet is always cold enough to snow ..(.even at sea level )within the northen and southern poles!! If you are curious about extreme temperatures?....the coldest place on this planet is "vostok" in antarctica (but it is also a cold desert),and the snowiest place on this planet is of course a mountain called "mt Rainier" on the west coast of the US somewhere?
