I was wondering if it snows in the winter?

Yes, it did last year for about 1 hour. Once in a blue moon. I lived there for almost 10 years. Sometimes you will get some freezing rain and a few weeks of a cold spell. But, it mainly stay pretty warm. Winter isn't long at all. Sometimes Christmas's you will wear shorts.
